Testimonials
"My daughter had a sudden and significant vision loss when she was three-years- old. She endured, and is still going through, multiple eye surgeries and at this point her vision is only fractionally improved. We knew as parents it was important to get her some professional help to work with her as she navigated through what must be a challenging and frightening experience.
Chelsea has been a tremendously positive influence with our daughter’s confidence as well as life skills. My daughter has always loved singing (getting her to stop singing is the trick) and Chelsea has helped her work through some of the difficult emotions she’s experienced through the music they “create” in their lessons. Chelsea has also been instrumental in working with my daughter on skills she will need as a visually impaired individual, helping her with sound location and using the remaining vision she has to her best advantage.
Chelsea is one of our favorite visitors. My daughter eagerly awaits at the front door prior to her lesson and rushes out to meet Chelsea when I let her know she’s arrived, saying, “Yay, I love Chelsea!”. They have fun, but fun with a purpose—one that is important for my daughter as well as my husband and me. Chelsea keeps us informed about what happens in their lessons and has given us excellent advice on resources we can utilize and ways in which we can help support Reese’s vision impairment.
To say I am an advocate of music therapy would be an understatement. We are continually grateful for Chelsea’s expertise and continued guidance."
